|Events at East Lambrook in 2018
Tuesday to Sunday from 1st February onwards (until March when we are open Tuesday to Saturday) - 10am to 5pm
(NGS Open Day - Saturday 17th February 2018 - all entry money to NGS charities.)
The garden opens for the 2018 season on 1st February primarily for the snowdrops which come into flower around then - depending on the weather!
We have a wonderful collection of galanthus (snowdrop) at East Lambrook Manor. These are to be found in clumps growing around the garden with the bulk of them in the areas known as the Ditch and the Woodland Garden. We also have a special raised snowdrop display bed so that visitors can see choice cultivars close up.
Among other things we also have lovely Crocus tommasinianus, winter aconites, clumps of Iris unguicularis and Cyclamen coum. Once the snowdrops start to go over we have a wonderful collection of hellebores to take the garden on into March.
This year we have a greater number of named snowdrops for sale than ever before. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org for a list. Plants in the green can still be reserved for collection at the forthcoming Early Spring Plant Fair.
Serious buyers are recommended to contact our neighbour in Mid-Lambrook Avon Bulbs on 01460 242177. They are highly respected snowdrop bulb experts with many truly mouth watering varieties for sale.
