Follow the River Parrett from its source in the hills of Dorset across the wetlands of the Somerset Levels and Moors to the sea. This fascinating journey takes you through beautiful areas of orchards, woods, withy beds, passing mediaeval churches and crossing the complex network of rhynes and ditches of the lowland. Ideal walking countryside.

Taunton Ramblers 6 mile easy circular walk – East Lambrook Manor (Margery Fish Gardens):

Following River Parrett trail up to Gawbridge Mill, through village of Kingsbury Episcopi and on to the orchards of Burrow Hill. Passing the famous Julian Temperly apple brandy farm before turning south east back to East Lambrook and the gardens for tea and cake in the award winning tea rooms.
